Need some Florida vacation ideas.... Somewhere not too expensive...?

I have come to the conclusion that I am going to have to go somewhere that I can drive to in under 15 hours, seeming how I have some financial dilemmas. I only have around 1000 to spend on a 3 night 4 day vacation, and a rental car. Where is a nice place to go in Florida where we can enjoy some beautiful blue water and catch some rayz and relaxation... I live in Virginia Beach, if that helps with the whole 15 hour drive thing. Thanks!
