Can I still play it even though...?

I bought a really cheap student cello to learn on. I actually ordered online and all, so yeah :/ Like...under $200. But it's just to learn on. Anyways, the thing said 4/4, but I got it and turns out it's 3/4. I'm 14, and around 5'2. It's still comfortable, so is it that big of a deal? Do they sound different, or what?
