Does he have a crush on me?

Ok well i'm 14 and I am a freshmen. In one of my electives, there is this sophmore named Cody. He moved here last year but i didn't know him since he would of been a freshmen and i was in middle school still. Well anyways, he knew my friend Tyler(who is also in my elective cl) and Tyler introduced me and Cody. So Cody started talking to me in cl more often and at first I was just being friendly with him. until one day he caught me in the hall and told me he wanted to walk with me to my next cl. so we talked and then i started to get a crush on him. We walk to cl together everyday now. :) Then in cl he always looks at me. Well i found out that he just got a girlfriend last night. But then in cl today we were talking and i was talking about my one dads friend and how we found out he's a child molester or something( long story) and he got all protective and said he better not touch me. He also told me something that he said i wasn't aloud to tell and he said that he trusted me. Then on the way to my next class he put his arm around me :) Could he still like me even though he has a gf?
