My girlfriend and I are going to attend a party. Thoughts on if it will work?

My girlfriend and I have been together for almost three years now. We're both very happy but there is an issue that has been in the background the whole time - my lack of ual experience. I was 26 when I lost my virginity to her. The other day the elephant in the room came up. She was very cool about it all, saying she could completely understand my need to want to sleep with other people. We talked about what might happen and simply agreed that, while we may break up or not, we are happy for now. I raised the issue of swinging, suggesting it might be an alternative solution. She said she thought she'd find it impossible to do, but then said perhaps she'd let me sleep with someone else eventually. We have subsequently agreed to attend a party, with the rule we only watch and be watched for the first time. If we both like it, we might go again, and presumably maybe just do oral, and maybe eventually full , with others. We're taking it a day at a time. So, my question is do people think this could work? If we both agree boundaries, are open and honest etc? I've made sure to confirm she's trying this both for me and her. She says she is definitely into the idea herself, and would like to at least try it, but only by attending first. So, thoughts?
