Does Georgia's military aggression towards breakaway South Ossetia mean no joining NATO ?

The fact that NATO didn't give Georgia a clear path to membership is why Russia provoked Georgia into this action and why Russia is probably going to annex Georgia. They won't want NATO to reconsider and accept Georgia as a member because then Georgia would become a base for a NATO missile shield.
