Science does not make belief in God obsolete, but it may make obsolete the reality of God. Agree or disagree?

I disagree because I firmly believe in the reality of God. Everything real and explored by science remains relevant. The only way the reality of God could become obselete or irrelevant would be for proof of God's inexistence to surface. I do not believe that is a valid possibility, first because I believe God is real and second because proving a negative is difficult to impossible.
