Ok my frind is in th navy and he said he wasn't married (and wasn't whn he sign his contract) but?

he got married before he left for boot camp without notifying his superiors. he was scheduled to graduate april 15th but he is on hold like in lock down until the marriage licsense and birth certificate of wife is sent in my question is what is going to hapen to him? plese no opinions it gets annoying please only serious educated answers!
