I think my problems rubbed off onto my child. How can i make my 2 year old more confident?

Aww, she is fine! She is developing her own little personality and wants to be with you all the time. It's so normal for this age to want mommy and cry when you leave. And it's also normal for her to be shy in some situations. Don't worry that you did it! It takes a lot of years of parenting to raise a child and she is only 2- and you sound like a great mom, so she will grow up to be a wonderful, confident person.
