Americans: What is jam, jelly and jello?

Jelly is fruit juice gelled with pectin. Jam is fruit mash similarly gelled, but is mostly crushed fruit. Jello is a gelatin (protein) powder of animal origin, reconstituted with water and with whatever flavorings you choose to put in. I make wine jello. Want the recipe?
